Here at Escuela Falcon, there are many opportunities to grow as an intern and/or language instructor. We accept applications for all positions year-round, however we have greater demand during our summer months and at the beginning of our semesters (May-June and December-January).

Below are the general descriptions of the requirements and duties associated with internship and language instruction positions as well as directions for applying. We love welcoming new members to our team and look forward to hearing from you!

Internship: Office Assistant

We are looking for a highly motivated and hardworking individual who can commit to at least two months of interning and possibly teaching part-time for Escuela Falcon. We take interning at our school very seriously and believe this is an amazing opportunity for those looking to gain experience in a wide variety of administrative duties, live and work in a foreign country, and achieve Spanish fluency. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute greatly to the growth of our school with the unique skill sets you bring and the ones you will build while working with us.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and handle a very wide range of responsibilities.
  • Ability to work well as a team as well as independently and to adapt to change as necessary.
  • Experience in customer service. You must be patient, friendly, and willing to go the extra mile.
  • Intermediate level or higher in Spanish
  • Excellent writing skills in order to contribute to the Escuela Falcon blog and many other projects
  • Excellent computer and internet research skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to take initiative when needed, use sound judgment, and work with little supervision.
  • Must be professional, responsible, and punctual.

Language Instructor (full-time or part-time)

We are looking for a person who is seeking part-time or full-time employment as a language instructor. The ideal candidate would be a motivated teacher who is familiar with using a wide variety of teaching techniques to accomplish learning objectives.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in teaching OR a strong interest in teaching is required
  • Ability to work with kids in a classroom setting
  • Intermediate level or higher in Spanish is preferred (if teaching a language other than Spanish), and experience living or traveling abroad is a plus
  • Total flexibility and availability in scheduling
  • Willingness to teach all levels and ages
  • TESOL/TESL/TEFL certification is a plus, but not required
